Holly Kennedy, PT, CAPS, ECHM, CEAC

Holly moved to Charlotte in 1995 with her husband where they raised their 3 sons. She is an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church and volunteers as an instructor for the Fall Prevention program Matter of Balance through Centralina Agency on Aging. In 1993, Holly earned her Physical Therapy degree from Florida International University and accrued experience in out-patient, Workers Compensation injuries, home health and rehabilitation settings. She attained designations of Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) through National Association of Home Builders, Executive Certificate in Home Modification (ECHM) through University of Southern California School of Gerontology and Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC). Holly founded In Place With Grace in early 2019 to help individuals to maximize safety, function and independence in their homes whether they are struggling with a disability, progressive illness or simply planning ahead for optimal aging in place.


Janet Ceraldi, OTR/L, CEAC

Janet has been living in the Charlotte area for 32 years, where she located after completing her Occupational Therapy degree from Florida International University.  In 2011, she moved with her family to the Lake Norman area.  For the past 15 years, she has worked in skilled nursing facilities, focusing on acute rehabilitation.  Janet does volunteer work at her church, and she has taught exercise classes in the community for over 10 years.  In 2019, she earned her Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC) and is an active member of the Home Modification Occupational Therapy Alliance (HMOTA).  Janet joined the In Place With Grace team in 2019 and enjoys helping people make informed decisions about adaptations and modifications in order to help them be safer in their homes.


Kathy Subasic, PhD, OTR/L, CAPS, ECHM

Kathy moved to the Charlotte area in 2021 with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She has been an occupational therapist for over 20 years and elevated her degree to PhD in 2014. She has experience working with adults aged 18-98 in hospital, rehabilitation and home health settings. Her passion is helping clients customize their homes to fit their unique needs, which she has been doing for over a decade. Kathy has volunteered for the Alzheimer’s Association and AARP through CarFit and is an adjunct professor at Wingate University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, reading and exercising. Kathy joined the growing In Place With Grace team in 2022.
